Another day I just ordered the yogurt and it was very good. The yogurt was very good but it was gone and I had a half of a bowl of the dry granola left. One day I had the Mountain Continental Breakfast. The breakfast menu did not change during our days there. We were able to sit outside twice and inside a few times for both breakfast and dinner. MoreĮach day we stayed at the resort we had breakfast without making a reservation. We paid over $5K on this weekend trip up there, it was our 15 year anniversary and Sam tried to ruin it and make us not ever want to come back. I will write a different review of the breakfast crew but that one night we felt unwelcome. Then 50 minutes later Sam came and told us we can actually seat you now for a dessert. Then finally North Carolina sent Sam out to light our fire, which he reluctantly did. Also the waiter outside whom is from North Carolina kept saying over and over his shift was over but he kept coming and helping while the inside two people seating people didn't work as hard as him, he deserves 5 stars. We tried to get on the 30 minite wait list but again Sam told us it would be a very long time.
Sam then came outside because the evening air was becoming cooler and lit the group next to us fire but didn't even acknowledge nor ask us if we wanted ours lit. short staffed, super busy, the wait would be 30 minutes and if we went outside we could have a dessert and drink. A guy named Sam that was seating people told us first they were. We were here for our 15 yr anniversary and the 2nd night we wanted a drink and a dessert and none of the staff were on the same page.
